My beautiful dove flew

away today...

Away from all the pain,

worries and responsibilities

of this life...

She was tired

She was the anchor

that held us together

and kept us grounded...

She was my stronghold

and my support

but she is gone now.

I must do for myself

that which only she

had done for me before.

My bird flew away today

I set her free
